Rob Welch

The photo you see on your left is the first I saw of Rob Welch. It made my jaw drop. I thought I could boost a reasonable air until this appeared on my screen. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone on a MTB go higher out of a quarter.

The second time I saw him was at Terminal 1, blasting at mach 5 around the park. Despite only having seen photos he was instantly recognisable. As well as flow and a smooth effortless style, he has a host of big tricks on lock, including tuck no hander twists, flips and can-can whips.

He has recently been hooked up with Diamondback, and continues to improve each time I see him ride. Rob doesn’t just ride park. He is a hot contender for the King of Dirt series this year, so if you’re competing you’re in for a tough time beating this guy.
